from 10 am to 3pm with an hour off for lunch to tour our off grid
farm.
Once again, we will host a full day, hands on, sustainable beekeeping
seminar at Straight Creek Valley Farm in southern Ohio, just south of
Georgetown. Learn to understand the bees, using natural ways to deal with
pests and illness.
We will tour our apiary, learn about the equipment and techniques we use
all the way from catching a swarm, dealing with pests, extracting the honey
and making bees wax candles.
The cost of the seminar is only $25.00 per person. We will provide light
snacks and beverages, but suggest that you pack your own lunch. And at
the end of the seminar feel free to linger as long as you would like to hike
along the creek or explore the woods.

Stop by for a day or an hour of standing around the evaporator and
smelling the wonderful smell of condensing maple syrup and snacking on
maple products, cookies and vanilla ice cream with 100% pure Straight
Creek Valley Farm maple syrup!!!!
We do not know the exact date, but once (and if) the maple sap starts to
flow in late winter we will host a maple sap boil down day. Check back
or call Christine at (513) 205-0054, for the exact date as the end of
February draws near.
